For over a decade, we've been helping adults in Derby unlock their creativity through painting, drawing, and clay modelling. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique, our supportive studio offers a welcoming environment for all skill levels.

Here's what we offer:

1. Adults Beginners and Improvers Courses:

12-Week Courses (Core Programme)
Our 12-week courses run in Spring, Summer, and Autumn and form the foundation of our teaching programme. These courses provide structured, progressive tuition in drawing and painting techniques.
• Price: £320 (regular students) | £360 (new students)

2. Learn to Draw and Paint for Beginners: 

These sessions run ahead of our 12-week courses and are designed to give new students a strong foundation in sketching and drawing. They are ideal for anyone planning to join our 12-week or 6-week courses, as well as watercolour and guest artist sessions.
• £140 for both days | £75 single class

3. Private art workshops in our studio (corporate, family & friends):

We can design a workshop to suit your particular occasion and to include canvases ready for you to display. Download and fill in a party form here!

★ 1 person** – £30 per person/hr (2-hour minimum) 

★ 2 people** – £20 per person/hr (2-hour minimum) 

★ 3 people** – £18 per person/hr (2-hour minimum) 

★ 4 -7 people** – £14 per person/hr (2-hour minimum) 

★8-16 people – £12 per person/hr

Extra time available for £25 per additional half an hour - bring your own food!

4. Watercolour Classes:

The classes cost £34 per lesson or £250 for all 8 classes in 2025. These classes run once a month from 9:30-12:30 on Fridays. These classes will include watercolour techniques and a variety of subjects such as birds, flowers, pets and landscapes.

5. Sunday Art Classes:

The 6-week courses follow the same subjects and content as the 12-week courses but run every other week, making them ideal for those with limited availability.
• £34 per session | £192 per course.

6. Holiday Specials:

During summer, winter or half-term breaks we will offer one-off options for adults and 16+ sometimes by our super talented in-house artists or by our guest artists Amanda Dilworth amandadilworth.co.uk. All one-off workshops have a discounted price for our current student and another price for our new student.
