About Peacock Craft Barn

From birthday parties to school workshops, our studio is a haven for young minds to unleash their imagination. Our team is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing space for your child's artistic journey. Here are some of our classes and course:

1. After School Clubs in your School:
We deliver After School Clubs in over 20 schools in Derbyshire and during term time (blocks of 4-7 weeks) on a specific theme and bring along our talented team of instructors and all the materials that the children need.

2. STEM sessions in local schools 
We can create a topic to suit your curriculum or to encourage pupils to explore STEM subjects in an engaging and creative way. 

​

3. In-class activities 

Discover the joy of hands-on creativity with our in-class crafts activities! Our engaging lessons teach shape, proportion, spatial awareness, colour mixing, and texture, all while enhancing fine motor skills. Plus, these activities support brain development, boosting math and science understanding in a fun and interactive way.

 3. Make and Take Workshops in Markeaton Park

Each weekend and school holidays we run bookable or drop-in workshops on topics that are announced through our booking system. Bookings can be made here!

4. Birthday Parties

Celebrate your Birthday party with us, prices starting from £12 per child minimum number is 8 participants. Food options available via pcb@artintheparkderby.co.uk

5. Handprints

Our amazing clay allows us to create stunning handprints which you can take home on the day. Contact us to book-in!

 

6. Halloween Craft Day - 30 October half term

An autumn afternoon session for children between the age of 6-15 with all the materials provided. You can book a place here!
