We do not normally receive or store your full payment card details. Online payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Bookings made online are handled through Bookwhen. Bookwhen may collect and process information as part of providing its booking platform services. You can view Bookwhen's own privacy policy on its website.

We use personal information where necessary to:

  • process and manage bookings;

  • take and administer payments;

  • communicate with you about your booking or class;

  • provide our art classes and related services;

  • respond to enquiries and customer-support requests;

  • manage cancellations, refunds and other booking matters;

  • maintain appropriate business and financial records;

  • protect our business against fraud and misuse;

  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and

  • where you have chosen to receive them, send newsletters and business updates about Art in the Park Derby.

We may send newsletters and business updates to people who have actively chosen to receive them.

  • by ticking the newsletter subscription option on our website; or

  • by selecting the “I want to receive business updates” option when completing a Bookwhen booking form.

We use the contact details provided to us for the purpose of sending these communications.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletters and business updates at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of our newsletters.

Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not affect information that we need to retain for other legitimate purposes, such as managing your bookings, processing payments or complying with legal requirements.

5. Bookwhen and Stripe

We use third-party service providers to help us provide our booking and payment services.

Bookwhen provides the online booking platform through which customers can make bookings for our classes.

Stripe processes payments made through our online booking system. We do not normally have access to customers' complete payment-card details.

These providers process information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies as applicable to the services they provide.

6. How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

Access to personal information is limited to people and service providers who need it for legitimate business purposes.

However, no method of transmitting or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
